The worn out deck area with uneven surfaces and poorly placed steps needed to be addressed. It was removed and replaced to create better outdoor living spaces. It was also expanded to allow for additional seating and the addition of a built in bench. Old fences were also replaced and sections were added to screen unsightly views. New trellises placed above the side fence lines help screen neighboring roof lines and the sight lines into the pool. Over time, climbing roses and vines will grow up to soften the trellises and fence lines.

Existing overgrown planting beds were renovated and the hedge and lawn area removed to create more garden space. Stepping stone pathways allow movement throughout the landscape. Some small evergreens remain and perennials, herbs, and flowering shrubs were added. Low flowering plants and groundcover fill in the old unused lawn area. A raised bed for vegetables was also added.
